[Finished] Written in the stars (BTS)
  • Alina
  • *Two days later*
  • The plan was straight forward and easy to follow, but I could not help but feel nervous and a little scared. Vampires tended to be merciless, regardless of who their target was. Tonight, it just happened to be me, if the plan worked.
  • The town was deserted, not a soul to be seen. Everyone of the locals was scared with the news of a serial killer running lose. In a way, that served us right. We could take care of this more properly. I walked around the town, pretending to be leaving the diner in a waitressing uniform. It was pretty chilly and I could not help but hold myself tighter to try and warm myself up. I could hear the crickets as I walked by.
  • I stole a glance at the moon which was shining bright. It was actually a full moon tonight. I’ve always liked full moons, ever since I was a child, not because of the foolish stories about wolves being stronger on full moons, that was gibberish. It was always because it would look so big and marvellous.
  • Suddenly, I felt someone drag me to the alley. A hand as cold as ice was covering my mouth, preventing me from screaming, not that I would. I did not even fight him or her off. I felt my body get slammed against the wall and I winced slightly. Right in front of me were four vampires – two males and two females. As the legends always stated, they were definitely beautiful. They had white, pale skin without any blemish or fault. They were tall and their proportions beyond perfection. Their hair, although different colours and styles seemed perfect. Yet, their eyes, their red eyes betrayed them. They turned them into horrible monsters.
  • ‘Seems like we have a stupid little girl who did not read the news,’ one of the females said as she hung against one of the males. My guess was that they were two couples who hunted together.
  • ‘It does seem like it babe, but look at her, she is not even scared of us. Usually they would be crying their eyes out now,’ her partner said.
  • The other male approached me and his hand was suddenly against my face, his fingers pressing against my cheek. ‘You’re different than the rest. Why aren’t you scared of us?’ he asked.
  • I smirked as I pushed his hand away. ‘You’re right, I am not scared of you, because the truth is, you should be scared of me,’ I said as I raised my hand and send a burst of air, sending all four of them crashing against the wall.
  • They stood as they looked at me with wide eyes. ‘You’re…you’re a bender,’ one of the females stuttered.
  • ‘Yes. You’ve been killing humans and making it look like it was serial killers. I can’t let that happen,’ I said.
  • ‘I know you’re powerful but you still can’t take on the four of us on your own,’ one of the males said.
  • ‘Who said I am on my own?’ I asked. Their eyes went wide once more as suddenly, the alleyway echoed the growls.
  • ‘Werewolves,’ one of the females said with a gasp. I watched as my seven boys came out, all of them baring their teeth.
  • ‘You * tricked us,’ the male said as she jumped towards me. I raised my hand and sent a burst of air, making crash against the wall. The other three came to attack as well but I clapped my hand and vines appeared from under the ground. The vines circled around their ankles trapping them in place while I focused on the one who was on the ground.
  • ‘This * is about to burn you,’ I said as I snapped my finger and a fireball appeared.
  • ‘N—no wait!’ he said but I didn’t. I threw the fireball at him which quickly engulfed him. He screamed and thrashed around while one of the females screamed.
  • ‘NO!!!’ She screamed while I turned to her. She broke free from the vine as she rushed towards me. Taehyung instantly jumped on her, sending her crashing to the ground.
  • I focused on the other two who seemed to have gotten paralyzed. I raised my hands as I raised them in the air. I squeezed my hands together as I removed the air from their lungs and then flicked my wrist, causing their necks to snap.
  • I heard the other woman scream as Taehyung dug his teeth in her throat while I sent two fireballs towards the other two. Suddenly, the alleyway was lit up by fire and her screaming died down.
  • I walked towards her dead body as I sent another fireball her way. Vampires after all could only be killed with a wooden stake to the heart, head chopped off or burnt. The fire was intense, burning them quickly and leaving nothing but ash.
  • I raised my hand as the fire died down, leaving mountains of ass. I raised my other hand and sent a powerful breeze, causing the ash to divert.
  • I looked at my boys and smiled. I could tell they were proud by the way they were looking at me. I looked at Taehyung who I could swear I could see him smiling even in wolf form. I could feel the pride emitting from him.
  • I smiled as I climbed on his back and they took off running. The vampires had been killed rather easily. A part of me wondered if this was it or if there was more too it. It felt a little too easy but I was not going to miss out celebrating a victory.
  • The boys stopped running when they reached the edge of town and the start of the woods. They turned, facing the town before all seven of them howled together.
  • To anyone else, it would have sounded terrifying, as their howls echoed so loudly. Yet, to me, it sounded like music to my ears. From the other end of the woods, I heard more howling. It was the rest of the pack responding. They stopped as they turned towards the wood and began running back towards our home. I held onto to Taehyung who was practically running with all his might.
  • We finally arrived and I slipped off of Taehyung. The boys all stood outside, on the porch while I hurried inside so they could transform and change. I went to the kitchen and set the kettle on. I grabbed the mugs and set them on the table with coffee or tea in them just as the boys started coming in.
  • ‘Ah you read my mind. I was craving some coffee,’ Namjoon said as he sat down on one of the chairs.
  • ‘I knew we all need it even if our adrenaline is still high,’ I said as I brought the kettle and poured into the mugs. I hand Tae his tea while I took my coffee.
  • ‘Tonight went better than I expected,’ Hoseok said while Jungkook chuckled.
  • ‘Of course it did, with Alina being a boss lady like that,’ Jungkook said, sounding proud.
  • ‘He’s right. You were fantastic out there Princess – a true warrior,’ Yoongi said.
  • ‘You never needed my help, not really, but I felt like I needed to do something,’ Taehyung said with a laugh.
  • ‘It’s true when they say that your kind are the strongest. People tend to fear wolves and vampires but in truth, we don’t even begin to measure up to you,’ Jin said.
  • ‘I can’t deny we can be pretty dangerous. Still, we have missing things. Like physically we’re not strong like you and we don’t have heightened senses either,’ I said.
  • ‘Who needs those when you can do what you do. I wish you could see yourself through our eyes princess,’ Jimin said, his eyes twinkling.
  • ‘You looked like a goddess. Truly,’ Namjoon said with a smile that showed his dimples. I simply nodded as I thought about that moment. I knew they were proud of me. I also knew those vampires were murdering people – innocent people. So, why was I feeling guilty?
  • ‘Hey, princess, what’s wrong? You feel so upset,’ Taehyung said as he put his mug down and grabbed me by the arm. Hmm our bonding mark definitely made it hard to hide things from him. ‘Talk to us,’ he said as he wrapped his arms protectively around me.
  • ‘I don’t know. It’s stupid,’ I said, shaking my head, not sure if I want to talk about it.
  • ‘Nothing that concerns you is stupid love. Tell us what’s bothering you,’ Jin said.
  • ‘Is it because you killed them?’ Yoongi asked. I gulped and nodded while he sighed. ‘Baby, if you weren’t who you are, they would have killed you. Do you think they would have felt any remorse?’ he asked.
  • ‘No, but it’s like, I don’t know. I feel like I just murdered them, without giving them a chance or something,’ I said with a huff.
  • ‘First of all, if you gave them a chance, you would be as good as dead,’ Jungkook said.
  • ‘Secondly, did they give a chance to their victims? No, they didn’t,’ Hoseok said.
  • ‘They can feed on humans without killing them. Hell, they can even make them forget, but instead, they choose to kill,’ Jimin said.
  • ‘Not to mention, for them it’s like a game,’ Taehyung said. ‘Don’t feel guilty because you killed them. You removed a threat to people. Imagine if they did that to Solania or to you,’ he added. I shuddered at the very thought.
  • ‘Exactly. They wouldn’t have shown her any mercy Alina,’ Namjoon said.
  • ‘Don’t feel guilty my love. You did what you had to,’ Jimin said.
  • ‘Now let’s just pray it’s over,’ Yoongi said. ‘I just hope there aren’t more of them,’ he added, clearing himself.
  • ‘There could be. We should keep our eyes open just in case, protect each other,’ Namjoon said as everyone nodded. I felt Taehyung squeeze me a little tighter as he held me in his arms.
